SciPro are working exclusively with a global rare disease pharmaceutical company who are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join their high-performing team in Portugal. The company is proud to be a patient-centric organisation looking to transform the rare disease space by bringing innovative medicines to those suffering with rare disorders.
You will report directly into the country General Manager and work closely with them and the Medical Director covering the whole of Portugal, driving sales and market share of the company's product.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing strategic account plans aligned with business goals
- Identifying new business opportunities and nurturing relationships with KOLs
- Defending and expanding market share in existing and potential hospitals
- Representing the company at national/regional meetings, congresses, and webinars
- Supporting cross-functional collaboration within a lean, agile team
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Key Account Manager in the hospital setting (rare disease experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of Portuguese Health System
- Full fluency in Portuguese and English
