Senior Deployment Manager – Germany

Remote-first | Germany | €85–95K + Equity

I’m partnering with a fast-growing European healthcare AI company that is expanding into Germany and looking for a Senior Deployment Strategist to become one of the key people responsible for building the market from the ground up.

This is a genuinely hybrid position combining commercial strategy, hospital transformation and technical deployment. You’ll work directly with German hospitals to understand operational challenges, map existing workflows, identify where AI can create measurable value, build the business case and ultimately take customers from initial discovery through pilot, deployment and value realisation.

This isn’t a traditional sales role, nor is it purely implementation. You’ll have significant ownership over how the company enters and scales within Germany, working closely with the founding team and helping shape the proposition for the German healthcare market.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead discovery with hospital executives and operational stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points and transformation opportunities.
• Map complex hospital processes and translate them into structured technical and operational requirements.
• Build compelling, data-driven business cases and ROI models for AI-powered workflow transformation.
• Own opportunities from initial conversations through pilot agreement, helping establish clear success criteria from the outset.
• Work alongside technical teams to coordinate deployment, testing, go-live and subsequent measurement of impact.
• Build strong relationships across hospital leadership, including CIO, COO and CFO-level stakeholders.
• Help determine which use cases have the strongest potential within the German market and feed those insights directly into product and commercial strategy.
• Build the foundations, processes and market knowledge required to scale the German operation over time.

What we’re looking for:

• Fluent/native-level German alongside strong professional English.
• 5+ years of experience working directly with hospitals across healthcare IT, clinical technology, digital transformation, implementation or a related environment.
• Evidence of commercial ownership - whether that's pipeline, revenue, deals, pilots or business cases.
• Hands-on experience deploying technology into live hospital environments, rather than purely advising on transformation.
• Strong understanding of hospital workflows and the ability to conduct detailed process/workflow analysis.
• Enough technical credibility to confidently discuss APIs, integrations, data flows and hospital/KIS environments with senior technology stakeholders.
• Strong executive communication skills and the ability to translate complex technology into clear commercial and operational value.
• An entrepreneurial mindset - you'll be joining at an early stage of the German expansion, so you'll need to be comfortable building structure rather than inheriting it.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30–40% across Germany.
