Head of MEMS Engineering
 

A rapidly growing medical technology company is seeking an experienced Head of MEMS Engineering to lead the development of advanced MEMS-based sensing and micro-system technologies.

This is a senior technical leadership role with responsibility for defining the MEMS technology roadmap, building and developing a high-performing engineering team, and driving next-generation products from concept through prototyping, fabrication and validation.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the MEMS technology roadmap in alignment with broader product and business objectives.

• Lead, mentor and grow a multidisciplinary team covering MEMS design, process development and device characterization.

• Oversee the full MEMS product development lifecycle, including simulation, layout, prototyping, fabrication tape-out, testing and optimization.

• Establish and manage relationships with external MEMS foundries and technology partners, while supporting the development of internal fabrication capabilities.

• Work closely with ASIC, electronics, packaging and systems engineering teams to develop highly integrated medical devices.

• Drive the integration of MEMS with ASICs and other miniature components, including co-packaged MEMS/ASIC, SiP and SoC architectures.

• Provide hands-on technical leadership and ensure robust engineering, quality and development practices across the MEMS function.
